The Salome Gomez Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to facilitate training for our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. This role includes delivering 20 hours of instruction, both in-person and online. The RN will support students in developing the required skills for CNA certification through structured classroom learning and hands-on practice.

Responsibilities:

Deliver CNA program instruction in accordance with state certification guidelines
Lead and demonstrate essential hands-on skills in a clinical lab setting
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
Support student success through mentorship and guidance
Maintain accurate records of training hours and student progress
Collaborate with program staff to ensure training quality and compliance

Requirements:

Active RN license (Rhode Island preferred)
Experience teaching or facilitating CNA or healthcare training programs
Strong communication and leadership skills
Comfortable with hybrid instruction (in-person and virtual)
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Location: Hybrid – Some in-person instruction required in Rhode Island
